Yanagiyi Medicated Fresh Hair Tonic Spray



Comes in two types. Green (Organic Fruits, dry scalp- Fresh Citrus hair tonic) and Blue (Herbal extract, oily scalp- Fresh cool hair tonic). Suitable for use on oily or dry scalp.

Direction:
Towel dry your hair after wash.
Section your hair.
Shake hair tonic bottle and spray it onto the scalp (3-5cm away).
Massage gently into your scalp so tonic can be absorbed
Need not rinse
Used 2-3 times a week

Review on Phytocyane Revitalizing Serum

Ingredient: Vitamin B, Silk Protein, Gingko Biloba and viburnum extracts, Grape Procyaindins

Usefulness: Promote hair growth, reduces hair thinning and the rate of grey hair appearing. Reduce hairloss with 85% clinical success (done by an independent clinic test from Phytocyane)

Direction: Shampoo and towel dry your hair. Apply the entire ampoule over your hair- section by section. Do not rinse after applying.
For intense results- apply each ampoule at least 3x a week (for one month). For maintenance- 1x per week (for 3 months).

My review:
No unpleasant 'chemical' or 'herbal' smell
Volume is sufficient for my whole head
Does notice small strand of hair starting to grow from the scalp (for intensive use)
Lesser hair loss or hair fall
Glass bottle safe to use even the glass surface is not very smooth after breaking the bottle cap

Vichy Laboratories- Liftactiv Eyes

Excellent eye cream, suitable even for my sensitive eyes. This eye cream has firming effect and can reduce and lock winkles, crow feet and eye bags under eyes. Could be used day and night and over makeup.

Texture: White colour. Consider mild thick but moisturising. It is non- oily and non sticky. Very lightly scent. No unpleasant smell.

Weight: 15ml. It lasted me for more than 5 months (used once a day and night per day)

Price: TBA. Available in Watson and Guidance Pharmacy.

Ingredient: 5% Rhamnose (made from deoxy sugar- found in many plants). Extremely effective for anti aging effect. Paraben free.

Colour: Each series comes with a colour combination of 4 colors. You may blend all the 4 colors up and apply it on your cheek directly as a blusher or as a highlighter. For lighter shade, you may choose two of them within one set for direct application.

Texture: Light and easy to apply. Suit all skin type and best for normal skin. Excellent coverage and amazed by the long lasting effect. Can be used either as blusher, eye shadow or as highlighter.

Packaging: The case design is light and compact enough to carry around. It comes with a lower compartment to store the brush. The length of the tiny blush is easy to apply and could cover the cheek area effectively. However, it is not so good if applied on the brown bone.

The Face Shop- Rice Water Bright (Lip and Eye Makeup Remover)

Here's another good recommendation for eye and lip make up remover.

Must Try- Rice Water Bright from The Face Shop. It cost S$18.50 (120ml). This product has extreme good cleaning effect and definitely a quality product despite selling at such affordable price.

The packaging bottle is clear so it is easy to ensure that the cleaning solvent is properly mixed together(after shake) and ready for use. The clear bottle allows you also to monitor your usage so as to replenish another one when it about to finish.

Direction: Shake it before use. It is lightly scented without strong or unpleasant chemical smell. It is totally effortless to remove eye or lips make up. Simply dab the cotton puff filled with the make up remover and cleansed it over your eyelids or lashes.

It is suitable for my sensitive skin and it does not dry the area around your eyes or lips upon cleaning. I feel the effect that my skin is brighten up and "refresh" after use.

Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion

Sulwhasoo Prefect Cushion- This foundation product gives flawless, dewy and natural look when applied. It comes with 4 different shades. From light pink to deep beige. Excellent coverage and suitable for most types of Asian skin tone.

It has extremely smooth texture and easy to apply and absorbed by the face. It tend to brighten up your face but could give good coverage as well. It does not clog pores even for my oily skin in such hot and humid weather of Singapore.

It works well to cover blemishes and winkles and has UV protection (SPF50+).

Simply, just dab the foundation using the cushion provided and pat it evenly and around your face. You don't need to apply large amount as it is easy to spread.

Highly recommended product !

Eye Liner- The Face Shop

This eyeliner from The Face Shop is always one of my all time favourite. Though economical, it is (S$8.90- normal price) well proven and had exceeded my expectations based on it's good quality. The gel type pencil eyeliner is real water proof and worked just right even under my oily eyelids. Lasted almost 12 hours with minimum touch up or smudging.

There are 8 shades under this series. I particularly like the 02- brown colour. It is "soft" looking after applied yet able to enlarge our eyes perfectly. Personally, I dislike "hard" looking black colour liners since they could give extremely 'fierce' look if not properly applied, too thick or unmatched with your overall make up.

This eyeliner works well especially for the corner of your lower eyeliner and has the ability to enlarge your eyes 'naturally'. The texture of the eyeliner is creamy, soft and easy to apply unlike some other eyeliners which are rough and difficult to stick on when being applied. There is also no unpleasant chemical smell from this liner.

Removal of this eyeliner is extremely easy as well using normal eye makeup remover. It can be easily removed without the need of cleansing your lids several times thus damaging the sensitive eyelids or skin around your eyes.

Unfortunately, the design is simple and pencil is non retractable so there is a need to sharpen the eyeliner when blunt.
